Small Townhouse Fire Near Newark Senior Center Sends One To Hospital

Newark – Just before 4:00 this morning firefighter from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with crews from the Christina Fire Company responded to the unit block of East Village Road in Newark for reports of a fire.

Upon their arrival, crews reported that everyone was out of the home and that a fire in a bathroom fan had been extinguished. All other responding companies were recalled.

The occupant of the home was transported to the hospital via Aetna ambulance for evaluation.
