At around 9:45 this morning rescue crews from the Hartly and Marydel Fire Companies, along with Kent County Medics and Trooper 4 were dispatched to two separate accident scenes involving the same driver.
Early reports from the scene indicate that a driver, believed to be suffering from a medical condition, crashed into multiple vehicles at Pearsons Corner Road and Route 8 west of Dover.
The driver reportedly continued on down Halltown Road for about a half a mile where he ultimately overturned his vehicle near Crouse Lane.
The man was transported to an area hospital with undetermined injuries. A witness is reporting that medics are evaluating at least one person at the original scene.
It’s believed that Trooper 4 was recalled.
