Just In: Vehicle Into Building In Greenwood, Driver, Building Employee Trapped

Greenwood – At around 10:30 this morning rescue crews from the Greenwood and Bridgeville Fire Companies, along with Sussex County Medics and Trooper 2 were dispatched to the 500 block of E Market Street for reports of a vehicle into a structure with entrapment.

While en route crews learned that the driver of the vehicle and a person in the building were both trapped.

Upon arrival crews reported that the driver was extricated from the vehicle, however, an employee in the building was trapped and seriously injured.

The condition of the person in the building is not known at this time
Delaware State Police are currently on scene investigating.
