Police Identify New Castle Man Shot And Killed Sunday Morning

Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 10:11 a.m. Sunday morning in the 300 block of North Franklin Street.

Police located a gunshot victim identified as 48-year-old James Broadnax, of New Castle, who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
