Wilmington Police Need Your Help

 

Wilmington – The Wilmington Police Department Uniform Services Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two theft from vehicle- suspicious persons.

user36921-1487360774-media1In a photo captured yesterday, February 17,2017 at approximately 2:53 a.m. in the 1600 block of N. Bancroft Parkway, one unknown suspect acted as a lookout out of camera view.

The second,unknown suspect is seen in the photo. That suspect entered a vehicle and removed items, according to police. Officials said that another reported incident occurred in close proximity to this location in the 2100 block of W.17th Street at approximately 2:49 a.m. In both cases, the vehicles were parked, unoccupied and unlocked.

The Wilmington Police Department is urging citizens to remove all items of value from within their vehicles, to lock vehicle doors and to report any suspicious person(s) or activity in the area. In case of emergency, citizens are advised to call 911.
