The Long Neck area of Millsboro witnessed a shooting incident last night, prompting an investigation by the Delaware State Police.
At approximately 11:06 p.m. on June 2, 2023, law enforcement received a report of shots fired at the Paradise Grill located at 27344 Bay Road. Upon arrival, troopers were informed that a physical altercation had taken place inside the bar involving multiple subjects.
Following the altercation, the bouncers escorted some of the men outside. However, they subsequently reentered the establishment with the intent of resuming the fight, according to police.
Eventually, the man and two women accompanying him left the premises. As they drove away from the parking lot, the group of males chased after their vehicle. Gunshots were discharged and audible, yet the car continued without stopping. Subsequently, all individuals involved in the incident fled the area.
Law enforcement officers discovered and collected several bullet casings from the vicinity. No injuries were reported, and no suspects or victims have been identified at this time. It is important to note that surveillance footage and images related to the incident are not currently available.
