Wilmington Police Department Investigates Shooting Incident on Bowers Street

In the late hours of Thursday night, a shooting incident occurred in the 2700 block of Bowers Street, prompting an investigation by the Wilmington Police Department. According to the Office of Chief Wilfredo Campos, the incident took place at approximately 11:43 p.m. and resulted in a 24-year-old male victim sustaining gunshot wounds. The victim arrived at the hospital in stable condition police said.

The Wilmington Police Department responded to the scene, securing the area and initiating an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. While the details of the incident remain under investigation, the authorities are working to gather additional information and piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
