The New Castle County Police are conducting an investigation into an incident that unfolded earlier today around Park Court in Wilmington.
An individual, described as a male around 18 years of age, was rushed to a trauma center after suffering a gunshot wound.
Earlier in the day, authorities indicated that there was an ongoing investigation and that an increased police presence was noted in the area. The police are advised residents and those traveling near the Paladin Club to seek alternative routes to avoid delays or disruptions caused by the police activity.
