Laurel Police responded to the Little Creek Apartments, located at 400 Little Creek Drive, following a shots fired complaint just before 1:30 Monday morning.
Officials said that two men were shot. One victim. 23, self-transported to a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. The other victim, 26, was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.
