Victim Rushed To Surgery After Being Shot In Dover

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 34-year-old Dover man on Tuesday night.

Officials said officers responded to the 400 Block of East Water Street at approximately 7:04 p.m. after receiving several calls for shots fired in the area.

As officers arrived they located the male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and lower body. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery and is now stable, but in critical condition. Officers also located multiple shell casings at the scene of the incident.
