New Castle County Police are conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred on Friday morning in the 400 block of Bethune Drive in the Dunleith community.
The incident, reported shortly after 9:00 a.m., involved two individuals. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second individual, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, was transported to Christiana Hospital in serious condition.
