Woman Airlifted After Being Struck in Smyrna Parking Lot Sunday

A woman in her 40’s was airlifted to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center after being struck in a parking lot in the 600 block of Jimmy Drive in Smyrna around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Emergency crews responded to the scene following a 911 call reporting the incident.

Upon arrival, first responders assessed the woman’s condition and determined that she would be flown north. Due to her injuries, she was airlift her to Trauma Centre at Christiana Hospital with unknown injuries.
