Dover crash sends at least one to hospital Monday morning

On Monday morning at approximately 9:35, rescue crews were dispatched to a T-bone style collision with reported entrapment.

The accident occurred at the intersection of South Delaware Tech Drive and Scarborough Road in Dover. Multiple agencies, including Dover Fire Department, Dover EMS, Kent County Paramedics, and Delaware State Police Aviation Trooper 4 were dispatched to the scene.

Although Trooper 4 was initially dispatched, they were recalled as ground transport was utilized. One patient who self extricated from his vehicle was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for evaluation. The extent of injuries has not been officially reported.

it’s not clear if the driver of the second vehicle was injured.
