Seaford, Del. — A 68-year-old man was critically injured Monday evening after being struck in a hit-and-run on West Stein Highway near Porter Street, according to Seaford police.

At approximately 7:23 p.m. on October 27, 2025, officers were dispatched to the intersection for a reported collision involving a pedestrian. The initial investigation determined the man was walking northbound and crossing West Stein Highway when he was hit by the driver’s side mirror of a gray Lincoln Navigator.

The victim was transported to Nanticoke Hospital and subsequently flown to Christiana Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Investigators said the suspect vehicle initially slowed but then continued eastbound on West Stein Highway. The vehicle is believed to be missing its driver’s side mirror and may have additional damage along the driver’s side.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Corporal Craft of the Seaford Police Department at 302-629-6645.
