DelDOT To Close I-495 This Weekend

 

The Delaware Department of Transportation’s (DelDOT) contractor JJID Inc., will be repairing potholes on I-495 northbound beginning tonight. In an effort to minimize the impact to the traveling public, the work will be accomplished during the weekends, according to DelDOT.

The closure will begin tonight at 8 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 and will be reopen  at 5 a.m. Monday April 21, 2017.

The second closure will begin at 8 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017 and will be reopen  at 5 a.m. Monday May 1, 2017.

 

WHERE: I-495 NB Between I-495/I-95 NB Southern Split and Exit 1/U.S. Route 13

Detour Routes:

From I-95/I-495 northbound, motorists will take I-95 northbound to Exit 11/Naamans Road eastbound to U.S. Route 13 onto Philadelphia Pike to I-495 southbound.

From I-295 southbound (Delaware Memorial Bridge), motorists will take I-295 southbound to U.S. Route 13 northbound to I-495 northbound ramp.

Detour signage will be posted.
