All Charges Dropped In Freddie Gray Case

Baltimore — All charges have been dismissed against all the officers who had pending charges in connection with the death of Freddie Gray. Officer Garrett Miller, who’s trial was to start today, faced misconduct in office, reckless endangerment and charges of second-degree assault.

Three of the four other officers who previously stood trial were acquitted by Judge Barry Williams: Officer Edward Nero, Officer Caesar Goodson Jr. and Lt. Brian Rice. William Porter the fourth officer previously tried had a mistrial in his trial. Officer Alicia White was never tried.

As a result of all of the dismissals officer Porter will not face retrial in his case.
