24 Year Old Man Found Shot In Car – Newport

Newport– Delaware State Police said that around 7:15 p.m. on Saturday troopers were dispatched to the area of Burnside Boulevard and Newport Gap Pike.  Upon arrival Trooper’s found a 24-year-old male victim seated in his vehicle with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.  He was treated on the scene by New Castle County Paramedics and subsequently transported to an area hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition and is undergoing treatment.
