Middletown Police Save Overdose Victim

Middletown – On September 30, 2016 at around 8:30 PM Middletown Police were dispatched to the area of Foxtail Lane in reference to a report of an overdose, according to Middletown Police Spokesman Captain Michael J. Iglio.

Iglio said that officers found  a 21 year old subject who was not breathing and was unresponsive due to an apparent heroin overdose.

Officers on scene administered Naloxone to the unresponsive subject. Shortly after being administered the Naloxone, the subject began to breath and gained consciousness.

The subject was then transported to Middletown Emergency Room for further treatment.
