Multiple Burglaries In Wilmington

Wilmington – The New Castle County Police, Criminal Investigation Unit, is currently investigating a number of burglaries to homes in and around the Greenville area, according to New Castle County Spokeswoman Corporal Tracey Duffy.

Duffy said that New Castle County Police have responded to seven (7) burglaries in the following locations Centerville Road, Greenspring Road, Valley Green Road, Lands End Road, Overbrook Road, Brook Valley Road and most recently Buck Road.

Duffy also said that the New Castle County Police are experiencing shed burglaries in the communities of Dartmouth Woods, Brandon, Kimberly Chase, Brandywood, Winterset Farms, McDaniel Crest, Shipley Chase, Fairfax, South Graylyn Crest and Oak Lane Manor.

Residents are reminded to lock or secure sheds and mark the property inside to deter burglars.
