Man Arrested In Middletown Shooting

Middletown – On Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of Route 299, west of Brickmill Road in reference to a personal injury accident caused by a subject involved in a shooting that occurred in the area of 500 block of New Street in Middletown, according to Middletown Police.

Police said the investigation into the incident revealed the shooting involved two  males in the area of the 500 block of New Street. The victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, fled from the area in a silver Buick Lacrosse and caused multiple motor vehicle accidents.

As a result of the criminal investigation police arrested Dominique Ringgold on November 4, 2016. Ringgold was taken into custody and arraigned via JP Court 2. Ringgold was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of 100,00.00 secured bail, according to police.
