Hockessin Woman Injured By Falling Tree

 

Hockessin – New Castle County Paramedics were dispatched to an injured person on Monday, January 23, 2017, at around 12:00 p.m. in the 500 block of Wayland Drive in Hockessin, according to New Castle County Paramedic Spokeswoman Yvonne T. Russell.

Russell said that paramedics met with transporting Mill Creek Fire Company ambulance to find the patient, a 54 year old female, with leg and chest injuries. Paramedics continued care and the patient was transported to the Trauma Center at Christiana Hospital. The patient was liosted in critical condition at the time of transport, according to Russell.

New Castle County Police Department is investigating the accident.  Responding Agencies included New Castle County EMS (Paramedics), Mill Creek Fire Company and officers from the New Castle County Police Department.
