Police: Gun-Wielding Pair Rob Gas Station In Milford

Milford – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery of the Spring Hill area gas station that occurred last evening, according to Delaware State Police Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Gary Fournier.

Fournier said that at approximately 9:34 p.m., Saturday January 14, 2017, two male suspects, one armed with a handgun, the other armed with a shotgun, entered the Valero gas station, located at 1885 Bay Road. They approached a store employee and demanded cash from a safe according to Fournier.

When clerk was unable to open the safe, the suspects demanded cash from the register, said Fournier. The employee complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. Fournier said that the suspects then exited the store and entered an unknown type vehicle on Cicada Lane before fleeing southbound on Bay Road (SR1). The clerk was not injured.

The first suspect was described as black male approximately 5’6″, thin build wearing black pants with a black hooded sweatshirt and a bandanna covering his face.

The second suspect was described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
