Shots Fired Near Dover Hospital, Car Struck By Multiple Rounds

Dover – The Dover Police Department is investigating the shooting of an unoccupied vehicle that occurred on Thursday morning. At 12:53 a.m., according to Dover Police Spokesman M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said that an unknown suspect fired at least eleven shots at an unoccupied vehicle that was parked near a residence in the 700 Block of S. State Street, striking the vehicle seven times on the driver side. No injuries resulted from this incident.
