Harrington Man Arrested for Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct

 

Harrington – On February 27, 2017 the Harrington Police Department arrested Jeremiah C. Brown 19, of Harrington after he was found being disorderly and began resisting arrest with officers, according to Harrington Police Captain Earl K. Brode.

Brode said that while on patrol at 9:29 pm police were called to Diamond Court Apartments for a report of a fight in progress. When police arrived they located the subjects who were involved in the altercation and one suspect, identified at Brown began walking away as the officers were speaking to the suspects, said Brode.

He was ordered to stop and he then came towards the officer in an aggressive manner, according to Brode. The officer then placed Brown in handcuffs. While in handcuffs Brown began yelling and cursing at the officers and attempted to pull away and get away from the officer, said Brode.

He was then secured in the rear of the patrol vehicle and transported to the Harrington Police Department. He was processed and issued Criminal Summons for Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. He was then released to the custody of a an adult pending a future court appearance.
