Car Plows Into Tree Near Delaware Park, Serious Injuries

Stanton – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a serious motor vehicle crash which occurred late last night, according to Director of Public Information Sergeant Richard D. Bratz.

Bratz said the initial investigation has determined that the crash occurred at approximately 10:52 p.m. on Delaware Park Drive near Old Capitol Trail where one vehicle crashed into a tree.

At least two people have suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash, according to Bratz.

The Mill Creek Fire Company had to cut away the car’s roof and doors to gain access to a patient. New Castle County Paramedics along with Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder Ambulance crews treated that patient on scene before transport to Christina Hospital.

Delaware Park Drive in the area of the crash was closed as crews worked the scene.
