Odessa – DelDOT traffic cameras show traffic moving freely.

Odessa – DelDOT has advised that there is a vehicle blocking the roadway and motorist should use Route 1 NB to Route 299 EB to Route 13 NB. No ETA was given. Expect major delays as State Police investigate the crash scene. Doesn’t look like it will open anytime soon.

Rescue crews have brought the situation under control but remain on scene. Drivers are being diverted off Route 1. Expect heavy delays. Traffic is backed up south of the accident scene for about 6 miles.

Odessa – Route 1 NB at Drawyer Creek, just north of Odessa, is currently shutdown due to a serious accident. Rescue crews from the Odessa and Middletown along with Delaware State Police are on scene treating at least three patients. Traffic is backed up for about three miles to the Appoquinimink River.
