The Wilmington Flower Market held at Wilmington’s Rockford Park has been cancelled for Saturday due to rain. Money raised at this annual event is distributed to a wide range of charities throughout the state of Delaware supporting children. The 2017 Dewey Beach Arts Festival and Lion’s Club Community Day scheduled for today, Saturday has been canceled due to the weather. The event will not be rescheduled.

The annual “Pooches in the Park” at the Lewes Canalfront Park has been postponed due to rain. The event that was scheduled for today, Saturday, May 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. has been moved to Saturday to Sept. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Nanticoke Heritage Day, scheduled for today. Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nanticoke Indian Museum, has been postponed due to the weather. A new date and time have not been announced.

The Cougars for a Cause 5K ,scheduled for today, Saturday May 13, in Dover has has been re-scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 31 due to rain.

The Winterthur Invitational is cancelled on Saturday, May 13, due to rain. However, the Winterthur Coach House will be open for viewing. Stop in and see Winterthur’s 1927 Rolls Royce and a 1931 Buick Woody! You can also them us for the 1:00 pm lecture in Copeland Lecture Hall, “Behind the Scenes in the American Country House.” The Winterthur Invitational series continues on May 20 and May 27.
