Newark, DE – Recognizing music is a language that speaks to everyone, the City of Newark Parks & Recreation Department spring concert series will explore culture and creativity through a diverse selection of music as it kicks off this month. The concert series, in combination with Newark’s Youth Got Talent, will be held each Thursday through June. Youth will take the stage from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m., followed by a spring concert from 7 until 8 p.m. on the Academy Building Lawn.

5/18 – Meeta Gajjar Parker (Indian)
5/25 – E. Shawn Qaissaunee (Afghan Jazz)
6/1 – Paul Cullen (Latin Eclectic Acoustic)
6/8 – Polkadelphia (German & Polish Polka)
6/15 – The Juveniles (American Rock & Roll)
6/22 – Tahira (Stories & Music from Ghana)
