Happening Now: Three Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Road In Pike Creek, Injuries

Pike Creek – At approximately 9:49 a.m. this morning crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company were dispatched to Linden Hill Road for a report of an injury crash.

Arriving units found three vehicles involved, two with heavy damage. Crews immediately called for New Castle County Paramedics for one driver and placed Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) on standby.

Crews advised dispatch that two ambulance units would also be required. As first responders worked the accident they determined that New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 would not be needed.

One patient was transported to Christiana Hospital with undetermined injuries, via Mill Creek ambulance. Two other drivers refused medical treatment.

New Linden Hill Road remains closed between Skyline Road and Pike Creek as Delaware State Police investigate the crash.
