Siemens Building Completely Evacuated This Afternoon

Newark – Employees at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics in Newark were evacuated from their building due to some sort of hazardous spill according to reports from the scene.

Multiple HAZMAT crews, along with fire companies from around the county responded to the incident. Reports from the scene indicate that one person was treated and transported by ambulance.

Another report indicated that a firefighter was injured but was treated and returned to duty within minutes.
