Authorities Investigating Fatal House Fire

FileRehoboth – The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a fire near Rehoboth, Delaware that heavily damaged a house trailer.

Officials said one person was found deceased inside the home.

The blaze, reported shortly after midnight, occurred in the 23000 block of Lawrence Lane,Angola Crest II.

The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company arrived on the scene with flames coming
from the house trailer.

State fire investigators are on the scene searching for the fire’s origin and cause, according to authorities.

The victim was transported to the DE Division of Forensic Science for an autopsy.

Heavy fire damage was estimated at $30,000.
