Woman Charged With Home Invasion Near Glasgow High School

Newark – New Castle County Police have arrested 32-year-old Elizabeth Noone in reference to the home invasion that occurred in the community of Stones Throw Townhouses, according to New Castle County Police Spokesman Michel Eckerd.

Eckerd said that yesterday (September 20) at 830 a.m. patrol officers were dispatched to the unit block of Cobble Creek Curve (next to Glasgow High School) for a report of a home invasion that had just occurred. The 77-year old victim reported that she came downstairs and found an unknown white female in her residence, said Eckerd. The victim confronted the female who was then able to flee.

Responding New Castle County Police Officers were able to set up a perimeter around the neighborhood. The officers who had been provided the victim’s description of the intruder were able to locate and apprehend the suspect, Elizabeth Noone, according to Eckerd.

Elizabeth Noone was charged with: Felony Home Invasion, Felony Assault, Felony Theft and Misdemeanor Resisting Arrest. She was then arraigned and held in lieu of $65,000 secured bail.
