Just In: Crash In Newark Sends Two To Hospital


Newark – Just before 6:30 this evening crews from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder, along with Delaware State Police (DSP) have responded to the intersection of Route 72 (S Chapel Street and Route 4 (E Chestnut Hill Road) for reports of a vehicle crash involving entrapment.

Arriving crews found two vehicles with high impact damage to their front ends. Reports from the scene indicate that the patients were not trapped but they were injured. Ambulance crews from Aetna transported at least two patients to Christiana Hospital with undetermined injuries.

Fire Police and DSP remain on scene ad they investigate
