Thanksgiving Day Rollover Crash In Newark Sends One To Hospital

 

Newark – At approximately 9:00 this morning New Castle County Paramedics, Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company and Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to Interstate 95 Northbound near the
service area for a motor vehicle crash with report of a rollover, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, 30-year-old female, in care of emergency medical technicians (EMT’s). The patient removed herself from her overturned vehicle.

The patient suffered injuries to her head. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company ambulance. The patient was in stable condition at the time of
transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.

Newark – Rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with units from the Christiana Fire Company and Delaware State Police have responded to I-95 NB near the service center, for a report of a  rollover crash.

Upon arrival, crews have found one vehicle that has rolled over and is now resting on it’s top.

One female patient has been transported to the Christiana Hospital, with unknown injuries.

I-95 NB is currently restricted to two lane as police clear the scene. Traffic is being diverted trough the service center.
