Troopers Investigating Gunfire Into Beach House

Slaughter Beach – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a residence last evening on Bay Avenue, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Gary Fournier.

Fournier said the incident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017, at a residence in the 400 block of Bay Avenue. The homeowner contacted 9-1-1 after he heard gunshots outside and when he went to investigate, he noticed a bullet hole in the front door of his residence. The homeowner was not injured as a result of this incident.

This case remains under investigation and the Delaware State Police is requesting anyone with any information regarding this incident to contact Troop 4, Major Crimes Unit at 302-856-5850.
