Newark Bank Robbery Suspect Was Wanted For Elkton Bank Robbery

Newark – One of the men charged with the Monday, December 11, 2017, TD Bank robbery in Newark was wanted by the Elkton, Maryland Police.  Justin Thompson was wanted in connection with the December 6, 2017 robbery of the Downtown Branch of The Columbia Bank.

Elkton Police said that due to the swell of support and information received from members of the community, investigators identified Justin Thompson as the suspect from the Elkton robbery.

“Thompson has an active warrant for his arrest (Robbery) and we have received information that he may be in possession of a firearm – if seen, extreme caution should be used.
Should be Considered Armed and Extremely Dangerous”, read a statement on the Elkton Police Facebook page.

Thompson was arrested yesterday after police found him and another suspect in Wilmington Manor.
