77-Year-Old Woman Struck Crossing Route 13

Wilmington Manor – At approximately 1:40 yesterday afternoon, New Castle County Paramedics, Wilmington Manor and Good Will Fire Companies were dispatched to the intersection of Boulden Boulevard and North DuPont Highway for a pedestrian struck, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russel said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, 77-year-old female, in care of emergency medical technicians (EMT’s) from Wilmington Manor Fire Company. The patient suffered injuries to her head, arm and leg.

The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via ambulance from Wilmington Manor Fire Company accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
