Serious Crash In Newark Sends One To Hospital

Newark – Rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with New Castle County Police Officers and Delaware State Police have responded to Otts Chapel Road and Welsh Tract Road for an injury accident.

Upon arrival crews have found two vehicles with heavy damage and one patient injured. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital by ground ambulance with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Otts Chapel Road is currently closed as police investigate the scene. Avoid the area.
