Update: At 12:35 have shut down all southbound lanes of Summit Bridge Road to allow tow trucks into the scene. This will be a lengthy process avoid the area.
Middletown – Delaware State Police are on scene investigating an overturned tractor trailer at the intersection of Summit Bridge Road (Route 301) and Churchtown Road (Route 896).
Route 301 south of Route 896 is restricted to one lane.
This section of the roadway will be shutdown shortly as crews begin to right the truck. Expect delays.
