Man In Critical After Being Shot In The Torso

On Saturday, May 26, at approximately 2:55 am, Wilmington Police were summoned to 23rd and Lamotte Streets for a ‘shots fired’ complaint.

Upon their arrival, they were advised that the victim was located in 23rd and Market Streets. There, they located a 41-year-old male suffering from several gunshot wounds to his torso.

The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County paramedics. After, he was transported to the Christiana Hospital via ambulance where he is currently listed in critical condition.
