Bear – Rescue crews are responding to Route 1 NB at Route 72 (Wrangle Hill Road) for reports a motor vehicle accident involving multiple injuries.
Update: One patient was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Delaware State Police and DelDOT crews remain on scene as they work to clear the roadway.
Update: Crash cleared all lanes reopened 11:20 pm.
This accident occurred less than 15 minutes after Route 1 NB was reopened. The road was closed for more than seven hours due to a dump truck that had overturned earlier this morning.
