Happening Now: Route 141 SB Shut Down Due To Overturned Truck

Wilmington – Delaware State Police are investigating a minor personal injury crash involving an overturned box truck that occurred this morning at approximately 6:15 a.m., Sunday, June 24, 2018, on SR 141 southbound in the area of Boxwood Road west of Wilmington.

The road will be shut down for an extended period of time as the Department of Natural Resources is en-route due to a ruptured gas tank. At this time traffic is being diverted onto Boxwood Road.

Motorists can expect delays in the area and are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.

The driver has sustained minor injuries.
