Teenager Injured During Rollover Crash In New Castle

On Saturday at approximately 6:35 New Castle County Paramedics and Wilmington Manor Fire Company were dispatched to the 100 block of South DuPont Highway in New Castle for a motor vehicle crash with report of a rollover, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found a single vehicle on its roof. The patient, 18-year-old female, was in care of emergency medical technicians (EMT’s) from the responding fire company. The patient suffered injuries to her neck and abdomen. The patient was transferred to Christiana Hospital via Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
