Wilmington – Just after 6:00 this evening rescue crews fro the Cranston Heights Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police and New Castle County Paramedics responded to Old Capitol Trail and Newport Road for reports os a pedestrian struck.
Early reports from the scene indicate that the man riding the bike suffered injuries to his lower extremities and was transported to the trauma center at Christiana Hospital.
