McDelivery? Yep, Uber To Deliver McDonalds In Newark

Whether they are home, the office, or somewhere in between, McDonald’s customers in Newark can now enjoy their favorite burgers, fries, beverages, and desserts delivered right to their door. Through a partnership with Uber Eats, McDelivery is now available at 3 McDonald’s restaurants in Delaware.

“We are excited to welcome this new, convenient experience to customers in Newark with Uber Eats,” said Joel Dukart, a local McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “With the launch of McDelivery, our customers can now enjoy their favorite McDonald’s menu items whenever and wherever they want.”

Customers can place McDonald’s orders on the Uber Eats mobile app or on UberEats.com, using the same account they use to take Uber rides. Customers can track their order as an Uber Eats delivery partner brings their meal directly to them. The full menu at participating McDonald’s restaurants will be available for delivery (with the exception of soft serve cones). An Uber Eats booking fee applies to each order.

“With Uber Eats, you can get the food you want, where you want it, delivered at Uber speed. We are thrilled to partner with McDonald’s to give fans in Newark easy access to their McDonald’s favorites at the tap of a button,” said Ana Mahoney, Head of US Cities for Uber Eats.

The following McDonald’s restaurants will now offer delivery on Uber Eats:

374 East Main Street, Newark

815 South College Avenue, Newark

4160 Ogletown Stanton Road, Newark

The service is available now in select areas. When a customer accesses the Uber Eats website or mobile app, they will be prompted to enter a delivery address. If the delivery address is eligible for delivery (i.e., part of the Uber Eats coverage area for participating McDonald’s restaurants), the results will populate with the available locations, according to McDonald’s.

Delivery is just one way that McDonald’s is enhancing the customer experience through added convenience. McDonald’s continues to transform its restaurants through the addition of self-order kiosks, mobile ordering, table service and digital menu boards.
