Stanton – Just before 2:30 this afternoon, rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police responded to the 1000 block of Limestone Road for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Upon evaluation, medics determined that the patient was suffering from a medical condition and was not struck by a vehicle.

Both lanes of Limestone Road SB were shut down while crews worked to treat the woman.

The woman was later transported to Christiana Hospital.
