Cecil County Restaurant Destroyed By Fire

North East, Md. – Maryland officials with the Office of the State Fire Marshal are investigating a restaurant fire that occurred early yesterday morning.

Officials said that the fire at the Chef’s Kitchen, located at 2240 Pulaski Highway in North East, caused an estimated one million dollars in damages.

Approximately 4o firefighters from the North East Volunteer Fire Company responded to the fire, discovered by a passerby, just after 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday.
