Cops Find Shell Casings But No Shooting Victim, Man Shows Up At Hospital

Early this morning, Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at around 1:40, Wilmington Police responded to the 3800 block of N. Madison Street regarding a complaint of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers located multiple shell casings but no victim. A short time later, a 41-year-old man arrived at Wilmington Hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim is currently in stable condition, and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.

This shooting occurred just hours after a 22-year-old man was found shot in the back a block away on N. Jefferson Street.
