Third Shooting In Less Than 24 Hours Leaves Man In Serious Condition

At approximately 3:50 this afternoon, Wilmington Police responded to the 2400 block of Lamotte Street regarding a complaint of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital in serious condition. Wilmington Detectives responded, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is being asked to contact Det. J.
