Police: Two Arrested After Crack, Heroin Found In Home, Six Children Affected

The Dover Police Department arrested two people on several drug-related charges following a search warrant on Tuesday morning, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer.

Hoffman said officers conducted the search warrant at a home in the 800 Block of West North Street in Dover. During the search, officers located crack cocaine and heroin inside of the home where six children ranging from newborn to 7-years-old were staying, according to Hoffman. Dwahn Hooks (27) and Keyana Lewis (27) were both arrested without incident. All six children were placed with another family member.

Hooks was committed to SCI in default of $7,500 secured bond on the following offenses:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
-Endangering Welfare of a Child (6x)
-Possession of Heroin
-Drug Paraphernalia

Lewis was released on $7,500 unsecured bond on the following charges:
-Maintaining a Drug Property
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
